Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Who is responsible
This site is operated by the operator of this website. We are responsible for the personal information handled through the site. You can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
You can browse this site without giving us personal information. We do not run user accounts and we do not take payments. We collect:
- Analytics data, only if you accept cookies: pages viewed, approximate region, device and browser type, and how you reached the site. This is collected through Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager.
- Email you send us: if you contact us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write.
Cookies and consent
Nothing that sets analytics or advertising cookies runs until you accept through our cookie banner. Until then, and if you decline, analytics stays off. You can change your choice at any time. Details are on our cookie notice.
Why we use it
We use analytics to understand which content is useful and to improve the site. We use email only to reply to you. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.
Consent and Quebec Law 25
Our legal basis for analytics is your consent. Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's PIPEDA both inform how we handle your data. Consent is requested before non-essential cookies load, in the language of the page, and you can withdraw it.
Who we share it with
Analytics data is processed by Google as our service provider. We do not share your information with operators or sell it to anyone.
Where your data is processed
Our analytics provider processes data on servers that may be outside Canada, including in the United States. Where that happens, the provider's own safeguards apply.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as the law requires us to keep it. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. Analytics data is retained for a limited period set in our analytics configuration, and emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Your rights
You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and withdraw consent to analytics. To do any of these, email us at [email protected]. If you are in Quebec, you may also contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec; elsewhere in Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date shows when it last changed.
